According to The Puget Sound Business Journal, the tech-infused Pacific Northwest will be soon be more so, as Wave Broadband announced that it has acquired Layer 42, "a Silicon Valley data center and networking company."

Wave, who has built itself as a force through company acquisition, says their latest move will allow them to further "expand in one of the most network-heavy regions of the country. The fact that Layer42 offers networking services for companies moving and connecting massive amounts of data also will allow Wave to break into a unique market."
