Gets a Sneak Peak Into Kirkland's Latest Development Project

As those who frequent downtown Kirkland have noticed, the former location of ParkPlace Center is undergoing major construction, the result of which will be “Kirkland Urban,” an innovation in mixed-use development. A collective of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) brokers and executive team members were recently given the opportunity to take a behind the scenes look at this exciting new project.

“I live and work in Kirkland, so I couldn’t have been more excited to find out more details about this development,” said Jennifer Johnsen, Vice President of Brand Development for RSIR. As RSIR broker Malia Hass added, “many of the things I currently drive to Bellevue for, will be within a mile of my home! I know this project will be a great asset to our community.”

Attendees were treated to a video presentation of the new development, information about project planning and some insight into its potential tenants, as they indulged in bites by Deru Market. As Jason Gibbons, a broker with RSIR describes, “the tour presented ideas, innovations and advances that have never been seen before. So exciting to see this developing right in our backyard!”

“This project is going to add a tremendous new component to our downtown core here in Kirkland,” said Brian Hopper, broker with RSIR. “The development team is committed to adding value to our community through a selective tenant process and thoughtful positioning. I for one am very excited and looking forward to seeing the project come to life!”
